GENDER MAINSTREAMING
IN CRISIS
We, at the Dvora Institute, believe that many challenges arise and their solution is delayed due to ignoring the gender perspective, especially in crisis. The head of the Dvora Institute, Dr. Cochav Elkayam-Levi, is a member of the professional team chosen to write a report on implementing gender mainstreaming in national emergencies (following the Corona crisis). The report was adopted in a historic government decision in June 2022.
Along with creating a clear vision for the future, the institute builds strategies and operative measures to promote equality in a way that identifies systemic problems and that sets clear alternatives and infrastructural changes.

Position paper regarding the violation of women's rights in view of the current reform The document constitutes a critical knowledge infrastructure for the President and for thousands in the State of Israel to understand the human violation of the protection of women's rights and the background to the women's protest.
